The Flying Fish Organic Resort is owned and staffed by native Fijians, and their families, now being assisted by sustainability educators. This cross-cultural alliance supports traditional Fijian culture while teaching sustainability in an organic setting, creating a model for eco-tourism, and a strong local economy for the Fijians themselves. Native music and ceremony create a deeper cross-cultural experience.

Volunteers help protect the coral reefs, clean up beaches or work on a sustainablility or community project. They learn valuable skills at the Flying Fish or in Vuake village.
